Iron Front Disguise Script by Dirty Haz Released

Random Tracer Fire Script by Santa Six

A script that makes any AAA fire into the sky in random directions.

Works for background battle effects by adjusting one variable in the init call.


Code:


 nul = [this, false] execVM "tracerfire.sqf"


Change 'false' to 'true' for a background effect, this will hide the unit.

Sandbagged Sherman Script
by Santa Six

This script adds awesomeness to the IF M4 Shermans. It also adds, obviously, a Browning .50 caliber to the turret. Manning the .50 looks natural so no skeptics. Two backpacks to the rear of the hull were also added. Containing ammo for both the BAR and Bazooka and can be removed.


The script can be called by as many Shermans as you'd like.

 

For the Standalone IF users. Just remove the two lines that add the .50 caliber in the script.

 

I recommend using titleText ["", "BLACK IN", 1] or so for intros to hide the bag placing.


 

REQUIREMENTS

Iron Front: Liberation 1944 + D-Day DLC

IF/Arma 2 Conversion


 

INSTALLATION

Extract script into your missions folder


 

Usage

Add this code in the M4's init line

New script added : BD Light Truck Script


This is Big Dawg KS's light truck script. I changed things to work on the Opel Blitz truck. You can find his original post here

With these scripts, there are two possible ways to deploy the use of the lights on these trucks:
1. As a mobile light source. While the searchlight is being operated, there is only room in the back for 6 troops (8 total including driver & passenger positions in the cab). Good for nighttime patrols.
2. To support dismounted infantry. When the light is not being operated, you can seat all 11 (13 including the cab positions) troops. Upon dismounting, you can have one man operate the searchlight to help the dismounted troops identify & engage the enemy.

Added the following new scripts to the Iron front Script section:

  • AI Mortar script
  • On Map single click arty demo scripts  
  • Insurgency_Respawn.ivachev(Template)
  • Paradrop using a Mapclick location
  • Insert by Halo w/ mission template 
  • On Mapsingleclick ammodrop script Demo 
  • Open Tailgates by OnAction 
  • change_object_vectors

All scripts I have put together based on the inforamtion on the release threads on IF fan forums, links to threads for each script have been added, most scripts I had added readmes for.
